Throughout her life, Betty White was a fierce advocate for animals.
In honor of her 100th birthday on January 17, join the viral #BettyWhiteChallenge movement and donate $5 or more in her name to our local animals in need.
Above is a photo taken of Betty White on our Hawaiian Humane Society Mo'ili'ili campus in 1988.

The Hawaiian Humane Society is an education and advocacy organization that shelters, protects, rescues, reunites and rehomes animals. It is Oʻahu's largest animal welfare organization that is a resource for all animals.
Established in 1883, the nonprofit organization is not a chapter of any group as there is no national humane society. Every gift to the Hawaiian Humane Society stays in Hawaii for the benefit of local people and animals.
