8 to 9 am Hawaiian Humane Society’s foster care program helps to save thousands of orphaned animals, as well as owned animals in which families are in crises. With an average of 150 animals in foster care at any given time, more foster homes are always needed.

All Oahu high school students can apply now to take part in the Hawaiian Humane Society's new Teens4Animals Council! Teens will serve a one-year term and will learn how their voices and choices can make a difference for the animals in our communities. Council members will form friendships with like-minded youth and will develop, promote and lead animal welfare initiatives throughout their term.
